Sibu Soren - new chief minister of Jarkhand Sibu Soren sworn in as the chief minister of Jarkhand with his team of 11 ministers of which two were women. U.P.A. promised him to support him to form the government if he had supported the confidence motion in Lok Saba. Presently he is elected for the Lok Saba. He has to be elected for the Jarkhand Assembly within six months.

Sibu Soren was externally supported by RJD and Congress Party. The dream of Soren turns true. Previously he led the 9 days government and resigned, as he had failed to win the confidence of the assembly.

Sibu Soren was born on 11th January, 1944 at Nemra village in Hazari Bagh District. His education was ended with matriculation where his father was a teacher. He entered in politics with agitation against money lenders in 1970. He was elected as the General Secretary for Jarkhand Mukthi Morcha. He was elected to parliament in 1980. He was accused for murder of 9 Muslim people in 1975 at Chirudhi Village. He resigned for the Minister of Iron and Steel in Manmohan Singh Government as he was convicted by the court in Sasinath Jha murder case.

His wife is Rupi Soren and he has four children.
